Syrian tweeters and activists interacted widely with the first anniversary of the fall of the ousted President Bashar al-Assad’s regime, as Syrians commemorated this day, which witnessed a lightning operation carried out by the Aggression Deterrence Forces that ended 54 years of Assad family rule in the country.
Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa performed the dawn prayer in the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, wearing military uniform, and gave a speech on this occasion, while Syrians gathered in squares and squares in most of the country’s governorates to celebrate the anniversary of the liberation.

Reports indicate that Syria has achieved major transformations a year after the overthrow of the Assad regime, reshaping its foreign relations, coinciding with a broad lifting of Western sanctions that were obstructing its recovery path.
On the humanitarian level, more than 3 million Syrians, both refugees and displaced persons, have returned to their homes during a full year since the overthrow of the Assad regime, according to what the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees confirms.
