By participating in the “52nd Annual Convention of the National Association of Business Lawyers (ANADE) 2025,” which takes place in the city of Puebla, they indicated that the main objective of the jurisdictional body is to combat corruption that could be present in the courts, in addition to ending the backlog in pending matters, and eradicating impunity and returning citizen confidence to the Judiciary.
The presiding judge Celia Maya García cHe commented that the idea that drove the recent judicial reform is that every person who goes before the justice bodies trusts them, “that the citizens know that they have a totally reliable, independent Judiciary, which will give its resolutions without any pressure.”

He assured that the guarantees of the jurisdictional function are untouchable and it is only expected that judges do not deviate from the law and that their decisions are in accordance with the law. “The only thing the Court will have to do is observe whether this conduct of the judges really complied with the law.”
He asked citizens in general and the lawyers present at the ANADE convention to have confidence in the TDJ, because its members have the best of intentions and work hard. to form a new and better Judicial Branch and, “above all, because we are going to ensure the independence of the judges.”

For his part, Judge Rufino H León Tovar, stated that the TDJ is a Court of strict legality, that ““It does not obey the interests of anyone, neither of parties, nor of powers, nor of political groups,” in which its members are fully convinced that no one is above the law.
He explained that among the main functions of the TDJ are being the guarantor of the correct conduct of all judges in the country in the administration of justice and also in the interaction they have, both with the personnel under their charge and with the defendants; carry out the evaluation of the judicial career of all the judges in the country, and resolve the controversies that arise arise between the Judiciary and its workers.
He stressed that this body has the power to initiate investigations, procedures and apply sanctions to those judges whose conduct deviates from the law, but always adheres to compliance with due process, observing the legal and constitutional guarantees that those involved owe.
“All judges in the country must be certain that the Court should not, nor will it, disrupt jurisdictional autonomy. If we did, justice in the country would make no sense,” he mentioned.
