Sonora: ‘El Toro’ and ‘El Torito’, members of the criminal faction Los Rusos, are arrested

Authorities arrested this Monday in two simultaneous operations in Sonora to two members of the criminal organization ‘The Russians’ related to the trafficking of weapons, drugs, cartridges and currency to the United States in the municipality of San Luis Río Colorado.

The arrests were achieved thanks to intelligence work in which security elements carried out fixed, mobile and discreet surveillance of the homes to obtain information as evidence for the search warrant to be issued.

The detainees are Abdel ‘N’, alias ‘El Toro’, 63 years oldwho has a criminal record for intentional simple homicide and injuries, since Miguel Ángel ‘N’, ‘El Torito’, 32 years old.

During the inspection of the properties, doses of fentanyl, cocaine, crystal, methamphetamines, useful cartridges, cash, a firearm and three vehicles were seized.

Both Abdel ‘N’ and Miguel Ángel ‘N’ were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will define their legal situation.. On the other hand, the homes located in the Reforma and Jalisco neighborhoods were sealed and under the custody of the authorities.

Elements from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Secretariat of National Defense (Defense), Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and National Guard (GN) participated in the intervention.
