A little more than a month after the government of USA decided to cancel flights from Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) under the argument of violations of the bilateral agreement in the cargo operation, the president Claudia Sheinbaum met for the second time, with national and foreign companies, as well as organizations and associations that participate in this sector.
“For the second time, we spoke with national and foreign companies, as well as organizations and associations that participate in the loading operation of the AIFA“, said the head of the Federal Executive, Claudia Sheinbaum, through her social networks.

On November 17, the national president announced that Mexican airlines would give up some slots in the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to US airlines.
President Claudia Sheinbaum explained that the reallocation was not due to an increase in capacity, but rather an internal distribution between national and US airlines.
According to the president, Mexican companies agreed to give up part of their schedules to facilitate the return of flights withdrawn during the decree to reduce operations in the AICM.

At the end of October, the United States revoked the authorization of more than a dozen routes operated by Mexican airlines, in retaliation for what it called the illegal cancellation of flights by US airlines to Mexico.
