The Ministry of the Interior (Segob) expressed his total rejection of the violent actions that occurred this Saturday in the Zócalo of CDMX, during the March of Generation Zin which protesters clashed with capital police.
Likewise, he rejected any provocation or act that threatens the life and integrity of people and condemned the attacks against the elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC).

In a statement, Segob assured that during the confrontation the security forces accompanying the march and some people passing through the Zócalo received assaults with thrown objects, homemade explosive devices, rockets and tools.

On the other hand, he highlighted the removal of the fences that protected National Palaceby protesters, who he claimed put the integrity of the people at risk and ‘severely’ damaged the historical heritage.

Finally, in its statement, the federal agency reiterated the respect for freedom of expression and to free demonstration and the commitment to protecting the human rights of those who express themselves publicly and called to privilege the peaceful expressions.
The march of Generation Z, held this November 15 in CDMX, left a balance of 100 police officers injured y 40 civilians detained for various charges.
