Pain, anger and a strong demand for justice marked the day after the crime of the municipal president of Uruapan, Michoacán, Carlos Manzo Rodríguez this Saturday, during Candle Festival.

The indignation overflowed. Hundreds of people took to the streets to demand justice in their municipality. Dressed in white, they joined in a single voice: “He did not die, the State killed him,” “Carlos lives, the fight continues” and “Uruapan rose.”
Demonstrators protesting in Morelia for the crime of the mayor of the hat they broke into the Government Palace; They sought to lynch Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla: “The Government killed him” and “Murderer”, alluding to the president, were the slogans.
The dissatisfied citizens entered the central patio and climbed the windows to paste posters of repudiation and demands for justice on the windows.
Previously, during the funeral, dozens of mourners expelled Governor Ramírez Bedolla from the funeral home, accusing him of Manzo Rodríguez’s crime.
