The Israeli occupation army carried out, at dawn on Monday, air and artillery bombardment and new bombing operations on homes in the Gaza Strip as part of renewed violations of the ceasefire agreement that entered into force on the tenth of last October.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes launched air strikes, accompanied by artillery shelling, on the city of Rafah and east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media also reported that occupation aircraft carried out a raid on the eastern areas of Gaza City.

The same sources said that the occupation forces bombed the eastern neighborhoods of the city, and at the same time, Israeli marches opened fire east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli violations have been repeated, the most serious of which was the massive raids it launched last week, which resulted in the death of 100 Palestinians, including 35 children.

The government media office in Gaza said yesterday, Sunday, that the Israeli occupation army committed 194 violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Within the framework of the first phase of the agreement, the Israeli army implemented a partial withdrawal to what was called the “yellow line,” which still occupies about half of the area of the Gaza Strip.

In the center of the Strip, the eastern area of the city of Deir al-Balah was subjected to artillery shelling.

In the south of the Gaza Strip, the occupation forces carried out bombing operations on residential buildings east of the city of Khan Yunis.

Palestinian sources said that the bombing of homes was accompanied by artillery shelling that targeted areas of the city.

The massive bombing operations were part of the strategy followed by Israel to cause comprehensive destruction in Gaza.

In a new tally published yesterday, Sunday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the toll of the Israeli aggression had risen to 68,865 martyrs and 170,670 injured since October 7, 2023.
