The Swedish music platform Spotify presented this Tuesday, 4th, a net profit of 899 million euros in the third quarter, almost three times more than in the same period last year.

Spotify, based in Stockholm and listed on the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street, increased revenue by 12% compared to the same period in 2024, to 4.272 million.

Operating profit was 582 million, up 28%, according to the balance sheet, which does not include accumulated data.

As of September 30, the Swedish company had 713 million monthly active users, up 11%, and the number of “premium” subscribers rose 12% to 281 million.

“Our business is in good health. We have the tools we need – pricing, product innovation, operational leverage – to achieve both revenue growth and profit expansion,” said Daniel Ek, founder and CEO of Spotify, in a statement.

Spotify forecasts revenue of 4,500 million and an operating profit of 620 million for the last quarter of the year, in which it expects to reach 745 million active users and 289 million “premium” subscribers.
