Videos by Ventura and Chega about gypsies and immigrants were viewed 43 million times in just 10 months. This is the dominant theme of the weekly Express this Friday, October 31st.
An investigation by INESC TEC carried out in partnership with the newspaper concludes that in the universe of 1402 videos broadcast in 2025 from the official accounts of André Ventura and Chega (not including the accounts of other party leaders), and up to the eve of the local elections on October 15, 325 videos were related in some way to gypsies or immigrants, which represents 23% of the total. According to this analysis, among the ten most viewed videos on Portuguese politics so far on TikTok, seven are from Chega, four of them broadcast on Ventura’s account.
