The Israeli occupation army not only committed crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip, but its soldiers published these violations on social media through video clips and pictures showing the kidnapping of young Palestinians and shocking insults against civilians.
In the most recent of these incidents, an Israeli soldier published a picture on his personal account after the end of his service – in what the media described as “genocide” – and wrote on it a provocative comment: “Palestinian for sale.”

At the same time, activists circulated a video clip showing Israeli soldiers kidnapping a young man during their incursion into the city of Jabalia, without knowing his fate yet, which reflects the continuation of violations and the ambiguity of the fate of civilians after the recent war.

These posts sparked widespread anger on social media platforms, as activists stressed that they reflect the scale of ongoing violations and highlight the suffering of civilians whose fate remains unclear after the war.
“For Sale.” An Israeli terrorist recently celebrated finishing his service by recapping his role in the genocide in Gaza.

Others saw the Israeli soldier’s post as a stark illustration of the systematic brutality and dehumanization practiced by the Israeli occupation towards the Palestinian people.

They added that celebrating the mistreatment of detainees and treating people as objects to mock reveals a deep moral collapse within the military structure of the occupation.
Commenting on the kidnapping of the young man in Jabalia, one of the activists wrote: “This is our neighbor, Islam Sobhi Afaneh, who has special needs, and has been missing since the recent storming of Jabalia.”
Another added: “He was arrested during the recent raid on Jabalia. He has special needs. He can’t pronounce his name, so they didn’t mention his name.”
Other activists considered that this behavior represents the type of cruelty that soldiers are allowed to flaunt, stressing that celebrating the kidnapping of Palestinians and insulting their humanity by describing them as “for sale” demonstrates the culture of violence sponsored by Israel and exposes the almost complete impunity enjoyed by soldiers.
Tweeters linked this to a new British documentary entitled “Breaking Rows: Inside Israel’s War,” which reveals practices that soldiers described as “unrestricted shooting” against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, and a complete collapse of the legal and moral standards that are supposed to govern the behavior of forces during the war.
The documentary included testimonies from soldiers, some of whom spoke by name and others with protected identities, and confirmed that they had received orders to destroy buildings in areas previously declared safe for civilians, in addition to targeting people without a direct threat or connection to the fighting.
Bloggers unanimously agreed that these actions are not isolated incidents, but rather demonstrate a broader and continuing pattern of war crimes, forced disappearance, and inhuman treatment targeting Palestinians, noting that the continuation of these violations reflects the extent of the moral collapse within the military structure of the occupation.
