November 2025 calendar: What days are there no classes according to the SEP?

The 2025-2026 school calendar of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) will enter its third full month on Monday, and millions of preschool, primary and secondary students continue academic activities after returning to school on September 1. However, November will not be one of continuous assistance, since the official document indicates two days without classes for basic education students throughout Mexico.

Days without classes in November 2025

According to the SEP, the month of November will have 18 effective days of class and two days of suspension. These breaks are intended for institutional and commemorative activities, so parents and teachers should consider them to organize in advance.

On Friday, November 28, 2025 there will be no classes due to the regular meeting of the School Technical Council (CTE). This meeting is held on the last Friday of each month and its purpose is for teachers to work on planning and evaluating the academic progress of the students.

Will there be a bridge in November 2025?

In addition to the suspension by the School Technical Council, the calendar marks another break in the month. Monday, November 17, will be a non-working day, since the commemoration of November 20 will be carried out, Mexican Revolution Day. Coinciding with Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th, students will enjoy a mega-bridge that will last three days, before returning to classes on Tuesday the 18th.

In total, November 2025 will have 18 days of classes within the 2025-2026 school year, which includes 185 effective days and will conclude in July of next year.

With these dates, November will not be a completely academic month, since the breaks of the megabridge of the Mexican Revolution and the School Technical Council will offer a brief respite to students, teachers and families before the end of the year.
