MEXICO CITY. – In an alleged vendetta between groups of drug dealers, who dispute control of the area in the mayor’s office Venustiano Carranzatwo dealers were shot to death.
They are Édgar Rocha and Gerardo Samaniego, 16 and 22 years old, respectively, who were outside a building located at 143 La Viga, in the Housing Unit known as La Tropa, when an armed subject, aboard a motorcycle, arrived and shot them to death.
According to the investigations, the place where the double crime occurred is a red dot controlled by María Del Pilar Barrera, La Chata, who has been imprisoned 4 times, and a subject nicknamed El Chanot, who are waging a war with those from El Yunque, for control of the area for the drug sales.
The area was cordoned off by elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), while personnel from the capital’s Attorney General’s Office carried out the investigations into the case.
The case is emerging as a revenge between drug dealers and it was established that another son of La Chata had also been shot recently.
