The proposal contemplates that the Congressional Political Coordination Board integrate a Special Commission to follow up on investigations into acts of violence and their political operators.
In this regard, the Morenoist bench maintained that the events of Saturday were not spontaneous, but the product of a strategy coordinated by conservative groups that seek to fabricate a narrative of repression.
“There were previous calls on social networks to tear down fences and burn the National Palace. This was not coincidental. Someone organized, financed and coordinated these violent groups with a political objective: to create the image of a repressive government,” says the document that deputy Paulo García will present on behalf of the bench.
The legislative proposal urges the capital’s Attorney General’s Office and the Secretary of Citizen Security to investigate not only the material aggressors, but also the political and financial operators behind these shock groups.

The proposed Commission will seek to specify who convened, financed and coordinated the actions of violent groups, and possible coercion of merchants, the bench announced.
