The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has once again exceeded the expectations of the technology community with its latest model, the OnePlus 15. The device stands out not only because of its angular design, but also because of its impressive technical features. Particularly noteworthy is the massive battery with a capacity of 7300 mAh, which ensures a long runtime even with intensive use. This capacity significantly exceeds its predecessor and approaches the top values of other premium smartphones.

Another highlight of the OnePlus 15 is the 165 Hz LTPO OLED display, which measures 6.78 inches and has a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels. Although the resolution has been slightly reduced compared to its predecessor, OnePlus promises a smoother display, which is made possible by the high refresh rate. The screen is surrounded by an extremely thin frame, which makes the device look even more elegant. Gorilla Glass also provides the necessary protection against scratches and impacts.

Inside the OnePlus 15 is the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm, which in combination with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage ensures outstanding performance. This hardware equipment allows the device to handle even the most demanding applications and games effortlessly. The processor is also used in other high-end devices such as the Xiaomi 17 series and is considered one of the most powerful on the market.

A notable aspect of the new model is the lack of Hasselblad branding on the camera module. Instead, OnePlus relies on Oppo’s image processing engine, known as “DetailMax”. The camera system consists of three 50-megapixel sensors, including a wide-angle camera with optical image stabilization, an ultra-wide-angle camera and a telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The front camera offers a resolution of 32 megapixels and ensures razor-sharp selfies.

The OnePlus 15 ships with the OxygenOS 16 operating system, which is based on Android 16. The software brings numerous improvements, including optimized animations and new AI-powered features. OnePlus also promises four major Android updates and five years of security updates, making the device a future-proof investment. The smartphone is available in black, beige and light purple and costs from 950 euros.
