In that sense, Leo XIV asked to open real spaces of silence, discernment and dialogue with conscience, “because young people who experience hyperstimulation and digital fatigue do not need more noise, but rather time to reflect with courage, who they are and what they live for.”

In addition, he highlighted that unarmed and disarming peace policies must be implemented in the face of the increase in school violence figures, due to the fact that an increase rate of 205% has been registered in reports of bullying, according to the Citizen Council for Security and Justice of Mexico City.

The Church emphasized that these three priorities complement the seven routes of the global educational pact: put the person at the center, listen to children and young people, promote the full participation of women, recognize the family as the first educator, open to inclusion, renew economics and politics at the service of human beings and safeguard the common home.
