The Welfare Secretariat launched the new program in 2025 Men’s Wellness Pensionan initiative that seeks to financially support men between 60 and 64 years old who live in Mexico City and are going through vulnerable situations. Through this scheme, The beneficiaries will receive three thousand pesos every two months, as part of the social policy promoted by Ariadna Montiel Reyes.

Unlike the Pension for the Welfare of the Elderly, intended for those who are 65 years of age or older, this new support is designed to cover the previous period, guaranteeing a support network before turning 65.
Requirements to access the Men’s Welfare Pension
- Living in Mexico City.
- Be between 63 and 64 years old at the time of registration.
- Present valid official identification (INE, INAPAM or driver’s license).
- Proof of address less than three months old.
- Birth certificate.
- CURP.
- Application form filled out in the service modules of the Welfare Secretariat.
When the beneficiaries turn 65 years oldwill be terminated from this program and automatically integrated into the Pension for the Well-being of the Elderlywhich currently grants six thousand 200 pesos every two months.
Start of registration
After completing the payment for September-October 2025, the agency plans a final delivery corresponding to November-December. Subsequently, The registration of the Men’s Welfare Pension would start in January 2026, with priority for men aged 63 and 64, and then those aged 60 to 62 would be incorporated.
