The mayor of Benito Juárez, Luis Mendoza, requested a budget of 3,420 million pesos for 2026.


The mayor of Benito Juárez, Luis Mendozarequested a budget of 3 thousand 420 million pesos for him Fiscal Year 2026which represents a 15 percent increase with respect to the amount allocated in 2025.

At a work table with local deputies, he explained that for this year a budget of 2 thousand 784 million for demarcation and a modified 2 thousand 792 million pesosof which 80 percent have been exercised.

He pointed out that almost 80 percent of the budget allocated for 2025 was allocated to current spending, that is, payroll, maintenance and services “and only 23 percent can be distributed to modernize or promote some type of project.”

The mayor stated that one of his priorities is the launch of a crematorium for pets, which would operate on Veterinary Care Center for Pets (CAVAC), for which he requested the support of the deputies for a budget increase for its construction.
