This Tuesday, December 2, the Minister of Internal Administration ordered the General Inspectorate of Internal Administration to open disciplinary proceedings against the 11 members of the security forces detained on suspicion of exploiting immigrants in Alentejo and who were released.
“The Minister of Internal Administration determined, this Tuesday, the opening of eleven disciplinary proceedings, under the responsibility of the General Inspectorate of Internal Administration (IGAI), against the ten GNR soldiers and the PSP agent constituted defendants” As part of the “Justa Harvest” process, the ministry supervised by Maria Lúcia Amaral advanced to Lusa.
According to the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI), IGAI requested the Public Prosecutor’s Office to send elements contained in the criminal investigation process, which are being processed by the Central Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DCIAP) for consideration, which will be, “subsequently analyzed by IGAI, in order to assess the need to apply possible precautionary measures”.
