The Secretary of the Navy (Semar) and the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Oaxaca arrested Alexis ‘A’ alias Macanannualleged head of a criminal cell linked to The Chromes.
The incident occurred in compliance with a search warrant carried out in the municipality of Ixhuacan, Oaxaca.
The Cromos operate mainly in the area of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, led by Rafael de Jesús Álvarez Palma, alias “Fallo” or “Comandante Renco”.
Macanannu is identified by the authorities as a weapons distributor, related to kidnappings, homicidesas well as the flow of information and alerts on movements of authorities federales for the criminal group Los Cromo.

During the search, federal and state forces secured weapons for exclusive use of the Armed Forces and alleged doses of drugs, which reinforces the detainee as a priority objective for the dismantling of criminal structures in the state.
