Mexico City.- Lizeth Karina Villeda Garcíacurrent general director of the Center for Documentation and Analysis, Archives and Compilation of Laws of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN)has been accused of using facilities of the Judicial Branch to record personal development videos during working hours and promoting herself as a “conscious coach.”
According to an investigation published in a national media, Villeda —who previously served as a District Judge in Chiapas— would have recorded its content in the Court’s offices, taking advantage of her position within the country’s highest court.
The videos have been broadcast since September on his Instagram account, where he has less than 300 followers, but in them he is seen giving advice on personal improvement and leadership.
The columnist also revealed that Villeda He presented his resume to the National Electoral Institute (INE) to run for a judicial position, omitting his role as a “coach.” In his profile he claims to have completed a doctorate in Law between 2019 and 2020 at the Center for Postgraduate Studies in Law, an institution that did not have official recognition from the Ministry of Public Education (SEP). Nevertheless, Villeda claims to have obtained the title in January 2021.
According to official records of the SEPthe official obtained a bachelor’s degree in 2007 and a master’s degree in 2017, but there is no record of a doctorate.
