With a three-day operation, the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office reported that the festival Corona Capital concluded with a white balance, thanks to the coordinated work with the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), the General Directorate of Government, as well as the Auxiliary Police. With more than 50 elements that reinforced and allowed order to be maintained to guarantee the safety of the attendees.
During this operation, 43 flannel workers were arrested and sent to the civic court, and four people were also arrested for illegal sale of articles.
In terms of civil protection and medical services of the Iztacalco mayor’s office, the attention of one thousand eight hundred and twenty-six people is reported, all for minor incidents, mainly sprains or falls at floor level, dizziness and heatstroke. It is important to note that no transfers to hospitals were made, thanks to the timely care provided on site.
In the same way, the ground-foot operation was carried out where the various parking areas and those with the greatest influx of attendees were visited in order to timely attend to their needs.
With these actions, the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office reaffirms its commitment to maintaining security in the different points of the demarcation, guaranteeing the well-being of the citizens and the residents of Iztacalco.
