L’or Strategic Investment Group (LSIG) now has Assunção Cristas in its Advisory Boardcreated in May this year.

In a statement sent to newsrooms, the LSIG group announced the change, considering the growth of the operation in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries. It has long-term investments in sectors such as digital payments, e-commerce, Defense technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In the portfolio, companies such as KuantoKusta, Paybyrd, POST77, Gigo and Noxus stand out.

It now has the former Minister of Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning, on a council that was created in May and is chaired by Miguel Frasquilho, former chairman yes TAP.

To date, Assunção Cristas is a partner at Vieira de Almeida (VdA), where she leads the ESG Platform and co-leads the Environment & Climate area. She is also an associate professor and vice-president of the Faculty Council of NOVA School of Law, where she coordinates the Master’s Degree in Maritime Law and Economics and directs the NOVA Ocean research center.

“I hope to contribute my experience to support the executive team and colleagues at board in creating strategies that reinforce the group’s position and accelerate its sustainable growth”, explained Assunção Cristas, in statements cited in the document.
