In Sinaloa, Marina secures 4 'mega' artisanal explosives


In Sinaloa, elements of the Navy They seized 4 ‘mega’ artisanal explosives, they are already 14 in less than 2 months.

This Wednesday, the Mexican Navy reported that the seizure took place in the Juárez de Escuinapa neighborhood, where “11 long weapons, 2 short weapons, 200 useful cartridges, 27 magazines, 4 grenades, 4 improvised explosive devices and 4 kilos of chemical substances” were seized.

This is the second time that the seizure of this type of explosives has been reported in less than 2 months.

On September 29, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) reported the seizure of 10 of these artifacts in Culiacán.

“In another action in Culiacán, elements of the Mexican Army, National Guard, Navy, SSPC, Prosecutor’s Office and State Police searched a property, seized chargers, cartridges and 10 improvised explosive devices weighing 5 kilos each,” detailed the SSPC.

The death of the Navy element in shooting practice occurs less than a week after the arrest of businessmen and sailors for huachicol.

On the other hand, regarding the actions carried out yesterday in Sinaloa, the SSPC reported that in the town of Caleritas de Villa Unión, the Security Cabinet seized 45 packages of fentanyl in an abandoned vehicle.
