IMSS reports 22.6 million formal jobs as of October 31

“It speaks about the solidity regarding employment in terms of the formal economy,” said the head of the IMSS when announcing employment figures within the framework of the press conference morning session headed by the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.

He explained that in October 198 thousand 454 were created and so far this year, 400,671 jobs have been generated.

Zoé Robledo pointed out that this figure may increase once the use of digital platforms is counted.

He also reported that the average contribution salary is $623.5 pesos per day, in the last 12 months the salary increased by $43 pesos, which is equivalent to a rate of 7.4%.
