Mexico City.- The president of the United States, Donald Trump, would be preparing an attack against the drug cartels in Mexicofor which military and intelligence elements would be sent, this is an expansion of the operations that are already being carried out in the Pacific and the Caribbean.
According to journalistic versions from the American media, troops belonging to the Joint Special Operations Command would be deployed, so the training of the members of this military group would already be carried out.
Reports indicate that the military commanders, as well as the White House, are discussing what the scope of said mission would be, so planning does not yet have a final decision.
The operation contemplates the use of drones that would allow the dismantling of drug-producing laboratories, as well as direct attacks against members of criminal groups that are responsible for the transfer of drugs to the American Union.
For now, the project remains a secret from the US government and authorities, despite the fact that since September it was announced that President Trump was considering the possibility of carrying out these actions in Mexican territory.
It should be remembered that the North American president already ordered military operations several weeks ago in the vicinity of Colombia and Venezuela against what he considers criminal groups, which has left dozens of dead.
