A group of protesters, who started from the Angel of Independence, arrived at the Zócalo and began a siege against the structure that protects the National Palace to try to tear down the fences, throwing objects, such as stones and rockets.
While the elements protecting the National Palace have responded by throwing fire extinguisher powder and tear gas.

Although the majority of protesters retreated due to the containment action of the police, another group continues the siege, with stones, fences and rockets.
The amount of gas launched managed to drive most of the protesters back.
The exchange of rocks is now between police and protesters, who invite them to join together to approach the Palace.

Protesters tear down the wall of the National Palace
A group of protesters tore down the metal wall that protected the National Palace and now several are confronting the Police.
After the demolition, several protesters were injured, while police in riot gear try to contain it.
