To mark World Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, the Apex office in Lisbon will host an event this week. “They Undertake: where immigration becomes business and business becomes impact” will be held on Friday, November 21st, from 2pm. Registration is free and places are limited.

The meeting is promoted by Instituto Brasil, led by Brazilian Nilzete Pacheco, who will also moderate the panels. Last week, the association launched an initiative to support Brazilian women victims of domestic violence.

The afternoon program will include panels Good practices in immigrant entrepreneurshipwith Izabel de Paula, an entrepreneur in the beauty field for 30 years; Artificial intelligence in businesswith Fernanda Rodrigues, specialist in digital marketing; and Ways to enhance local entrepreneurshipwith the participation of Ricardo Girão, incubation manager at Amadora Inova.

Finally, the event will end with the presentation of the Brazilian Women’s Space (EmuB)from the Consulate General of Brazil in Lisbon. The conversation will be led by vice consul Flávio Paes Leme. Last week, EmuB held its first forum on female entrepreneurship, which had all places sold out.
