Four men are arrested, including two minorswho carried firearms and more than 100 doses of apparent drug in the Venustiano Carranza mayor’s office; The subjects would be related to a criminal group that operates in the center zone of the capital.
This was announced this Thursday, December 11, by the Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City, through its official accounts, where they detailed that as a result of investigation and intelligence work to combat high-impact crimes in the northern area of Mexico City, SSC police detained four men —two of them minors— in possession of firearmsuseful cartridges, various mobile devices and more than 100 doses of apparent drugs.

Operation reveals possible link with criminal group
According to the agency, the events occurred on José de Joaquín Herrera and Nicolás Bravo streets, in the Zona Centro neighborhood, when the uniformed officers observed four subjects handling wrappers commonly used for drug dealing.
Upon realizing that one of them was carrying an object similar to a gun in his waistband, the officers stopped them.
They seize weapons, cartridges and apparent drugs
After applying police action protocols, the police officers carried out a security review, in which they ensured:
- Three short firearms
- Three chargers
- Five useful cartridges
- 100 bags with apparent marijuana
- A bag with 35 grams of crystal-like substance
- Four cell phones
After that, atThe detainees, aged 26, 21 and two 15 years oldthey were informed of their constitutional rights and were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will continue the investigations and determine their legal situation.
