Azucena Cisneros signs agreement for intelligence exchange

With the intention of strengthening the prevention of illicit acts, improving emergency response capacity and optimizing the use of human and material resources, with the support of the Navy and National Guard, the municipal president of Ecatepec, Azucena Cisneros Coss and the mayor of Tlalnepantla, Raciel Pérez Cruz They signed a security agreement.

Before hundreds of residents of both municipalities, the mayor affirmed that the lives of citizens are the priority of every government, ensuring the safety of those who go to work, take their children to school and return home safe and healthy.

“It is important to be able to consolidate with Tlalnepantla a coordination that we already bring, that we have already been working on, because there are high parts where we need to make a double wall, exchange strategies, information, intelligence, research for the benefit of all the residents of Tlalnepantla and Ecatepec, where for people’s lives there are no borders.

He specified that with this agreement there will be coordination to implement joint operations between both municipalities with the support of the Marine Task Force and federal forces, which are part of the Coordinated Commandthe strategy promoted by the President of the Republic Claudia Sheinbaum, to make visible the Eastern Zone that coordinates intelligence and investigation strategies with the three levels of government to reduce crimes.

“In Ecatepec there is no comparison of the past years, in which people governed who consented and tolerated crime in the street, that is why today we are attacking together, the three levels of government, everything that has to do with crime and criminals, this is not going to stop there, because more strategic operations are coming that the federal authorities are descending,” said Cisneros.

In his speech, the municipal president of Tlalnepantla, Raciel Pérez He highlighted that it shares a difficult border with Ecatepec and both municipalities face a similar background as in the past foreign interests prevailed, which is why fighting crime also involves purging corporations.

“There is a citizenry that judges and demands severely, that is why we celebrate with determination the signing of this agreement and I recognize the municipal president of Ecatepec for her will, she is aware of the problems posed by a border as difficult as that of Tlalnepantla and Ecatepec”, he emphasized.

The security agreement establishes optimizing the use of human, material and technological resources and implementing joint police training and professionalization programs, sharing information and intelligence that allows improving the response to risk situations or the commission of crimes. The Commissioner of Citizen Security and Traffic of Ecatepec, Edgar Machado Peña He stated that this agreement strengthens the Unified Command strategy that has allowed the reduction of crime rates through social proximity, prevention of crimes and attention to high-impact crimes such as vehicle theft.

“With this agreement we can strengthen the activities of the unified command and of course the activities of the Navy in Tlalnepantla can be strengthened, we are giving this message of solidarity and unity of what we have been building since the beginning of this administration, a safe and peaceful town, and a true change,” he pointed out.
