ATLANTA / LONDON (IT BOLTWISE) – The return to work of the controversial CDC vaccination committee is causing an uproar in the medical community. Under the leadership of Robert F. Kennedy, experts have been replaced by anti-vaxxers, raising significant concerns about the safety and effectiveness of the childhood vaccination schedule.

With the reopening of the government, the CDC’s controversial vaccination committee, headed by the vaccination-critical Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy, has resumed its work. Concern is high in the medical community as the committee, traditionally made up of leading vaccination experts, is now dominated by people with questionable qualifications and anti-vaccine attitudes.

In June, Kennedy fired all 17 experts on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and replaced them with 12 new members. These changes have led to a significant loss of confidence in the committee’s decisions, particularly regarding the childhood vaccination schedule. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has already published its own evidence-based vaccination recommendation to limit the damage.

A central point of discussion is the hepatitis B vaccination, which is usually given in three doses starting on the day of birth. This vaccination protects against a serious liver infection, which can become chronic if infected early. Despite the lack of safety concerns, the new committee plans to delay the first dose by a month, which experts consider to be unfounded and potentially dangerous.

The AAP and other medical organizations have launched legal action to reverse the new committee’s decisions and reinstate the original experts. They argue that current members do not have the necessary qualifications and that their decisions endanger children’s health. The impact of these changes is already being felt, as trust in vaccinations declines and the number of preventable diseases increases.
