According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), This Saturday, December 8, a new cold front will approach and enter the northern border of Mexico, moving over the northeast and east of the country during Sunday, generating strong winds in these regions.
On the other hand, the mass of cold air that drives it will cause a drop in temperatures, with possible frosts in states of the Mesa del Norte and the Mesa Central, as well as a very strong “North” event, with winds of 40 to 55 km/h and gusts of 70 to 80 km/h on the coasts of Tamaulipas and Veracruz, extending at the end of the forecast period to the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec (Oaxaca and Chiapas).

- Mountain areas of Sonora, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Veracruz and Oaxaca.
