As a result of inter-institutional coordination work, Federal authorities arrested 11 alleged members of a criminal cell in the state of Chihuahua, including Roberto “N.”identified by the Government of Mexico as one of the main generators of violence in the region.
The events occurred in the town of El Pueblito, municipality of Aldama, where elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), National Guard (GN), Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) carried out land tours.

During these actions, the officers were attacked with gunshots, so, seeing themselves at risk, they repelled the attack and managed to control the situation.
After the operation, he was arrested Roberto “N”, alias “El 02”, along with others 10 people allegedly linked to a criminal group that operates in the area. Also seized were 11 long weapons, two machine guns, two Barret rifles, three vehicles, various explosive devices and a drone.
What is Roberto “N” accused of?
According to official information, Roberto “N” is part of a criminal cell accused of generating violence in the municipalities of Aldama, Coyame del Sotol and Manuel Benavidesas well as for his probable participation in confrontations between antagonistic groups in Ojinaga.
In addition, there is an ongoing extradition process requested by the United States and it is considered a priority objective by the Federal Government.
