The Congress of Mexico City is ready to receive the holders of autonomous bodies and the 16 mayoraltiesfor the designation of budgets for the 2026 Economic Package, announced deputy Valentina Batrespresident of the Budget Committee.
In conference “Chilanguera”, The Morenoist legislator recalled that in recent days the Budget and Public Account Commission to approve a first agreement that has to do with the appearance calendar.

“We start with the head of Álvaro Obregón, next Tuesday, November 18, and we will have three appearances until December 5, the days that we do not meet in the Plenary Session, from 10 in the morning until 7 at night”, reported.
In his participation, he highlighted the importance of the appearances that will allow the heads of the agencies to hear about how they have exercised the 2025 budget and what the budget projections for 2026.
“From there, we can have a much more robust analysis of what the priorities are in terms of spending, what they have decided to direct resources towards,” he explained.
In this way, the appearance of the Ministry of Finance also includes in the route for the approval of the 2026 Economic Package. “The Budget and Public Accounts commissions and the Treasury commission installed united commissions on November 27so that by December 15 we can have the opinion that will be submitted to the Plenary Session of Congress,” he explained.
