PARIS.- A brilliant night for Luis Díaz was experienced in the Parc des Princes. The Colombian was the great figure of the Bayern Munich 2-1 over him Paris Saint-Germain, result that places the Bavarian team with 12 points in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Bayern Munich cut off PSG’s perfect pace, where Achraf Hakimi also left in tears due to injury.
Luis Díaz needed only 4 minutes to appear. He took advantage of several errors and Díaz coolly defined to open the scoring.
However, the night belonged to the Colombian. At 32′, after a mistake by Marquinhos, Díaz once again found space inside the area and crossed his shot to score the double.
With that score, he reached 14 goals in Champions League, becoming the top Colombian scorer in the history of the competition.
Before the break, at 45+7, Díaz was sent off after a strong challenge on Achraf Hakimi, which left Bayern with one man less for the second half. Despite the numerical inferiority, the German team sustained the result with defensive order and time management, resisting the Parisian attempts.
The night also left bad news for PSG. Ousmane Dembélé was injured for the third time this season, setting off alarm bells. The Frenchman has already missed 7 of the 16 games this season due to various discomforts.
