The problem is due to a packaging error which has resulted in the presence of undeclared allergenscreating a serious risk for people with allergies, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
An FDA recall report indicates that the products recalled are:
The Walnut, Cranberry and Cinnamon Christmas Bark may contain wheat undeclared. It was packaged in bags intended for the cookie butter bar.
The Christmas Cookie Butter Bar may contain pecans not declared. It was packaged in bags intended for walnut, cranberry and cinnamon bark.
Both cases pose a risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. The affected lots for both products are n.ยบ 29225with expiration dates of 05/2026 (cookie butter) and 08/2026 (walnut, cranberry and cinnamon).
