Silvestri Sweets Inc. start one voluntary retirement nationwide of its branded Christmas bar bags Shockerdistributed through stores Aldi. The problem is due to a packaging error which has resulted in the presence of undeclared allergenscreating a serious risk for people with allergies, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

An FDA recall report indicates that the products recalled are:

The Walnut, Cranberry and Cinnamon Christmas Bark may contain wheat undeclared. It was packaged in bags intended for the cookie butter bar.

Both cases pose a risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. The affected lots for both products are n.ยบ 29225with expiration dates of 05/2026 (cookie butter) and 08/2026 (walnut, cranberry and cinnamon).
