After less than five years of being imprisoned accused of being part of a sexual exploitation ring, Ghislaine Maxwell wants to be granted her freedom.

Los Angeles, December 4 (LaOpinión).- Ghislaine Maxwellaccomplice and former sentimental partner of Jeffrey Edward Epsteinleader of a sexual exploitation network and who committed suicide while in prison, will request to be released after serving five years of sentence.
The 63-year-old Frenchwoman was sentenced to 20 years in prison accused of recruiting minors to join the exploitation network headed by the financial magnate, from whom everyone currently wants to distance themselves for fear of the implications it could have for their reputation.
Maxwell has been imprisoned since July 2, 2020 and although she initially remained in a federal prison in Florida, she was later transferred to a minimum security women’s prison located in Bryan, Texas.
Noella Turnage, a nurse who worked at the prison camp where Ghislaine Maxwell is held, reported that she was fired for having told the House Judiciary Committee about the preferential treatment that the Frenchwoman receives.
The woman in question wrote a letter to the House Judiciary Committee describing that in her new prison, Jeffrey Epstein’s partner and accomplice received preferential treatment, including personalized meals delivered directly to her cell and even the privilege of playing with a dog puppy in her cell.
However, that seems not to be enough for the former businesswoman and former socialite with triple citizenship, as she now intends to regain her freedom.
Lawyers representing Ghislaine Noelle Marion Maxwell have drafted a letter filed in federal court stating that she plans to file a court petition to challenge her detention.
However, the fact that President Donald Trump has recently signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act could complicate the sex offender’s plans, because in less than a month, previously unknown information about the financial magnate will be published that could involve several high-level people in the illicit activities he used to practice.
David Oscar Markus, one of the lawyers representing Maxwell, indicated that his request for freedom will be in his name and without legal support to defend it.
