Refined Energy Corp., a Canadian company specializing in mineral exploration, has recently taken significant steps to strengthen its position in the uranium sector. By appointing Ken Wheatley, a recognized expert in uranium exploration, to the Board of Directors, the Company demonstrates its commitment to expanding its expertise in this area. Wheatley brings over 40 years of experience and has been instrumental in the development of significant uranium deposits such as Cluff Lake and McClean Lake.

The decision to add Wheatley to the board is part of a broader strategy by Refined Energy to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of its exploration projects. Wheatley’s extensive knowledge and experience is considered critical to the upcoming drilling program in the Athabasca Basin, one of the richest uranium deposits in the world. Refined Energy’s Mark Field emphasized that Wheatley’s contribution will significantly drive the company’s growth.

In parallel with the expansion of the board, Refined Energy also adjusted the terms of its option agreement for the Simard concession in Saskatchewan. These strategic moves demonstrate Refined Energy’s commitment to optimizing its exploration activities and solidifying its position as a leading player in the North American uranium industry. The company remains on the lookout for promising concessions to achieve its growth objectives.
