The General Assembly of FC Porto confirmed this Saturday, November 22, the expulsion of Sandra Madureira as a member of the club, after the majority of members rejected the appeal presented by the former vice-president of Super Dragões, wife of Fernando Madureira, the former cheerleader who remains detained as part of Operation Praetorian. The vote ends a disciplinary process that marked the internal agenda of the “dragons” in recent months.

According to information released by the club, 908 members voted in favor of maintaining the sentence, while 710 voted against, with 60 abstentions and 3 null or blank votes. The decision confirms the proposal of the Fiscal and Disciplinary Council, which had determined the expulsion of Sandra Madureira.

Upon arrival at Dragão Arena, where the main meeting took place, Sandra Madureira made a short statement to journalists: “I only have one certainty: I will leave as much of a Porto player as I come in.”

A session was also marked by the confirmation of the expulsion of Vítor ‘Aleixo’ and Vítor Catãoafter both had missed the meeting and, therefore, did not meet the necessary conditions for their respective resources to be deliberated. The absence was considered unjustified, leading to the maintenance of the decision of the Fiscal and Disciplinary Council.

Already In the case of Fernando Madureira, former leader of the Super Dragões, the Board of the General Assembly considered his absence justified, withdrawing the point from the vote and postponing any decision on his process.

The General Assembly brought together 1,808 members, of which 1,681 exercised their right to vote. In addition to the assessment of disciplinary appeals, members approved the report and accounts for the 2024/25 financial year, with 1,341 votes in favor, 171 against, 163 abstentions and 6 blank or null votes.
