The president of the United States, Donald Trump met at the White House with the next Democratic mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdaniwhom he assured he will support during his administration to improve the lives of the residents of said city.
“Let’s help you make everyone’s dream come true: having a New York strong and very confident,” Trump said after the meeting that Mamdani himself described as “very productive”.

The mayor-elect stressed that his meeting “did not focus on the points of disagreement, which are numerous,” but on his “common goal of serving New Yorkers” to combat the high cost of living, his great campaign promise.

During his appearance before the media, Trump expressed that the 34-year-old Democrat ‘will surprise some conservatives’this, despite some past comments made by Zohran in which he described the tycoon as a ‘despot’.

Regarding the above, Trump responded: “Much worse things have been said about me What a ‘despot’. So it’s not that insulting. Maybe I’ll change my mind.”
The meeting between Trump and Mamdani caused great media mobilization in the White House and surprised by congratulating his guest on his ‘incredible’ campaign in which he began as an unknown character until becoming a new star of the American progressives.
