After reports of long lines at the service modules to process the Permanent License in Mexico City (CDMX), the capital government confirmed an extension of the deadline so that more drivers can access the procedure during next 2026.

    This place has been highlighted by users who claim to have completed their procedure in 30 minutes.
  • Module of Av. Insurgentes Sur 263 in the Colonia Roma Sur
    Here many users have highlighted having completed the procedure in up to 15 minutes, arriving before 7:00 in the morning.
  • Module of the Mobility Secretariat Av. Álvaro Obregón 269 Colonia Roma Norte
    This place has good recommendations on the internet for its agile process and good service.
  • Mobile Module 18 Calzada de Tláhuac 5662, San Lorenzo
    Located inside the Walmart Tláhuac, users report that it provides quick service.

Tips to expedite the Permanent License process

As well as the places recommended by Internet users to have a shorter waiting time, they have shared some tips online to speed up the process.

  • Bring the documentation ready to deliver: Current official identification (physical INE and copy), proof of address less than 3 months old, CURP, printed approved exam and paid invoice line.
  • Arrive early: As a general fact, among the recommendations of other drivers it is always highlighted that those who do not have an appointment, arrive before 8:00 in the morning.
