The national leadership of Morena He stated that this Saturday’s mobilization, which culminated in the tearing down of fences in National Palacewas not genuine of the youth, but led by members of the Opposition.
“From the events recorded in the protest held in the capital’s Zócalo —which led to acts of violence beyond the popular spirit— Morena expresses the following: First of all, it is important to emphasize that the call It was far from being a youthful exercisespontaneous or non-partisan, as some tried to present,” the guinda party said in a statement.

He considered that “the mobilization was led by figures of old PRIAN and of the traditional right: Acosta Naranjo, Fernando Belaunzarán, Emilio Álvarez Icaza, Lourdes Mendoza, Pedro Ferriz Híjar and the father of Carlos Loret de Mola, among others.”
He asserted that “that single list dismantles any narrative of citizen independence“.
At the same time, “the composition of the march did not correspond to a diverse representation of society either. They predominated adults over 40 years of age from privileged sectorswhile youth participation was clearly a minority.”
Morena assured that “in several cities in the country attendance was reduced, in some cases just a few dozen people; even in Mexico City the call was smaller than in other recent mobilizations of the opposition itself. What was observed were opposition groups and political operators, not a broad movement of citizens. The people of Mexico support the President and the Fourth Transformation, and the streets confirmed it.”
He stated that “particularly serious was the contradiction between the message and the behavior of certain contingents“A march that supposedly rejected violence ended with attacks and destruction carried out by radicalized far-right groups.”
Said inconsistency, he assured, “reveals the intention to provoke, polarize and destabilize, just when the Government of Mexico “works to pacify the country from a humanist and State vision.”
Morena accused that “a media narrative was added that sought to inflate attendance, hide the real organizers and offer a distorted version of the events. But what happened confirmed the obvious: bots don’t work. Those who attended were the same actors as always, with the same interests as always.”

He stated that “it was clear that this mobilization did not represent Generation Z. On networks and in public spaces, young people from all over the country expressed their rejection of the right using their image to cover up agendas that have nothing to do with their reality or their causes. Youth think, decide and organize themselves; does not need guardianship or fictitious spokespersons“.
Morena reaffirmed “his absolute respect for the right to free expression. Every peaceful protest is an essential part of the country’s democratic life and is a social achievement that this movement has defended since its origins. Therefore, we call on the opposition to conduct itself with democratic responsibility, without resorting to violence or manipulation.”
