The Guatemalan arrives to conquer Mexico with this catchy song, the first of three romantic musical downloads

Proudly from Guatemala, the singer Vani the Rivalwho resides in the United States, comes to conquer Mexico with his powerful music bathed in bachata. The proof is in his new romantic song “Love like the old ones”which a few days after its release is already breaking it in Aztec lands and on all digital platforms, not to mention that this romantic song is the first of three musical downloads that will be released soon: “Dos caras” and “Cama vaca”. Exclusively for Canton Groupthe artist shared the details of his new musical proposal and his path to success, since he left his beloved Guatemala to go to the American Union to succeed.
“I started singing in church, back in Guatemalapure Christian music, that’s how my first music CD of this genre came out, very soft romantic music. At 13 years old I had my group, I played the guitar and sang. I studied for four years to be a pastor, but I didn’t get it and I went to the United States at the age of 21. It was there that music began to captivate me more,” said the Guatemalan.
Time took care of positioning it. “In 2008 I was working in a group called Los Rivals de la Sierra, with that group we had 8 nominations for the Latin Grammys, we recorded 4 albums, we toured many shows and all over the United States. When banda music started to come in, I didn’t settle in and decided to leave the group,” he said.
Although she decided to step away from music for a while, fate again led Vani to record bachata. “At the same time I met Selena’s producer and other great artists, and that was when after two years I decided to record bachata and the song “Amor como los de siempre” came out, we released it, the video was made and in two weeks it has reached more than 200 thousand views immediately,” he said. Vani with a big smile.
Continuous. “The song has exploded everywhere, we have been heard in many countries such as Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, Central America… In addition, other releases are coming, which are “Dos Caras” and “Cama Vaca”, for January. The best thing is that we are touring the United States, we will visit places like Boston, New Jersey, Philadelphia and more. And for next year we have a tour planned for Mexico back in February, in addition to the fact that we are going to be covering states like Miami and other entities in the American Union,” he concluded.
