Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated Wednesday that his country’s military forces have every right to operate in “their hemisphere.”
Los Angeles, November 13 (LaOpinión).- The ministers of Exteriors of the G7 renewed their support for Ukrainesupported the plan paz of United States (EU) to Gaza and promoted cooperation on critical minerals, but avoided addressing the attacks of Washington a speedboats in it Caribbean or trade tensions.
Without mentioning this context, the Secretary of State assured on Wednesday that the military forces of their country have every right to operate in “their hemisphere” and Europa is not the one to determine the legality of the operations against the boats in the Caribbean supposedly loaded with drugs.
Rubio assured that at no time during the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting was the issue of attacks against ships in the Caribbean discussed and that no country raised Washington’s actions with him.

“No one discussed it with me. No one at the meeting discussed it, not with me. Maybe they have discussed it among themselves, but it was not discussed in any of the meetings we had, neither last night nor today,” he bluntly shared when asked if the military operations in the Caribbean were discussed.
Later, Rubio denied that Europe can interfere in American politics.
“I don’t think the European Union can determine what international law is. They certainly can’t determine how the United States defends its national security. The United States is being attacked by criminal terrorist organizations in our hemisphere and the President [Trump] “He is responding in defense of our country,” he added.
Another topic that was avoided at the meeting was the tariffs imposed by the US on the rest of the world and which have caused tensions with its allies.
