Jeremy Renner's team rejects Yi Zhou's accusations


After Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou accused American actor Jeremy Renner of violent actions, the artist’s work team rejects such claims.

After Zhou met with Renner at his home in Nevada to discuss details about the documentary Disney Chroniclesthe filmmaker stated that after a series of arguments, the actor behaved violently with grievances and even threatened to call the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE).

Due to the above and through a statement, the actor’s work team rejected all the accusations made and assure that the statements are “wrong and inaccurate.”

Also, Jeremy Renner’s representative insists that Zhou’s statements are baseless.

Last week, Yi Zhou recounted on his social networks the alleged episodes of violence that he experienced alongside the Avengers star and stated that at the time of committing them, he was intoxicated.

He stated that he had drunk a full bottle of wine and that after just over two hours of meeting, the actor was screaming and even threatened to call ICE to have her deported.

Through the Daily Mail, the filmmaker stated that she “feared for her life” and that she had to lock herself in a room for fear of her safety; She also explained that the threat of calling ICE shocked her and “completely scared” her.

So far Jeremy Renner has not issued a position on the matter on his portals, profiles and personal channels.
