The Iranian Embassy in Mexico denied the alleged attack against Elinat Kranz Meiger, Israeli ambassador in our country.

“The accusation about a Iran’s alleged attempt to assassinate the ambassador of the Israeli regime in Mexico is a media invention“, a big lie, whose objective is to damage the friendly and historical relations between both countries (Mexico and Iran), which we categorically reject,” they mentioned.
Likewise, they mentioned that both Iran and Mexico have identical interests. In addition, they will never betray the trust that the Government of Mexico has placed in them.

“The security and reputation of Mexico are also the security and reputation of Iran. We will never betray the trust that the government of Mexico has placed in us.
“In no way will we damage the good image of Mexicansour friends. We consider that betraying Mexico’s interests is betraying our own. Respecting the laws of Mexico is our greatest interest,” added the Iranian embassy.
Government of Mexico denies attack against Israeli ambassador
In addition to the above, the Government of Mexico denied the alleged attack against the Israeli ambassador, Einat Kranz Neigerwhich the United States and the Tel Aviv representative herself maintain was “neutralized” by the Mexican authorities.
