Seven people were captured and more than a thousand doses of drugs were seized

MEXICO CITY. – In a mega operation led by federal forces and Mexico City, a network of drug dealers belonging to The Tepito Unionduring the execution of four simultaneous search warrants in the Venustiano Carranza, Iztacalco, Gustavo A. Madero and Cuauhtémoc municipalities.

As a result of the operations, seven people, three men and four women, were captured and more than a thousand doses of drugs were seized, including one kilogram of cocaine, weapons and cartridges.

The first intervention was on Imprenta Street, in the Morelos neighborhood, in the mayor’s office. Venustiano Carranzain which police officers seized 287 doses of cocaine, 10 grams of the same substance and 300 grams of bulk marijuana, as well as two cell phones.

On Toltecas Street, in the same neighborhood, but in the mayor’s office Cuauhtemocthe second search was carried out, where the uniformed officers seized 401 doses of cocaine, two mobile phones and detained two women, ages 65 and 37, as well as a 38-year-old man.

Simultaneously, on 12 Sur Street, in the Agrícola Oriental neighborhood, in the mayor’s office Iztacalco, The police officers seized 306 doses of cocaine and 120 bags of marijuana. In addition, they detained a 28-year-old subject and a 29-year-old woman.

Finally, on Bizet Street, in the Vallejo neighborhood, in the town hall Gustavo A. Maderothe fourth search was carried out in which a 65-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were captured, from whom they seized a kilogram of cocaine.

The searched properties were secured and are under police guard, while the seven detained people, along with what was secured, were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry agent, who will continue with the investigations of the case.
