The end of the successful serie Stranger Things is closer than ever and Mexico It has been selected to house a crack to the “other side” (upside down), the parallel world in this story and will welcome fans of this story through an unparalleled experience that will allow them to delve even further into the narrative.
The location will take you back in time, exactly to Hawkings, Indiana in 1986 and will open its doors in the middle of what will be the premiere period of the two parts into which the fifth season will be divided, to take advantage of all the excitement that it generates, on December 13, which was described by those responsible as “an honor.”

Iñaki Fernández, CEO of LETSGOsaid in an interview with this medium that the exhibition goes beyond “an exhibition to take photos. Spectators will live a totally immersive experience, far beyond something museum-like. They will interact with the iconic settings from the first and second seasons. They are going to enter the laboratory and also, in first person, they are going to fight with this monster, with Vecna, and they are going to experience special effects worthy of a Disney-type amusement park in Orlando,” he assured.
Six rooms designed for fun
The experience is made up of six rooms designed so that the public is an active part of the story and Rodrigo Matias, part of the production team that took the exhibition to Brazil explained that “the success of this experience is that you can precisely live within the universe of the series because a story is told and throughout the journey you have interaction with actors, with technology and the characters. The visitor becomes the protagonist,” he stated.
Along the way, attendees must unlock skills and “help Eleven and her friends get out of the upside-down world.” Matias highlighted that even those who have not seen the series will be able to enjoy it: “It is an experience for the family, for those who have seen the series and those who have not,” said the Brazilian.
After the immersive part, the public will be able to access the Mix-Tape area, where eighties nostalgia materializes with stages such as Scoops Ahoy, Surfer Boy Pizza, the Palace Arcade and a themed bar, as well as official merchandise.

The organizers reported high expectations from the public since the waiting list was published in which they must sign up to buy tickets. “We have had more than 40 thousand people registered in just two hours,” said Fernández. “Tickets go on sale next week and we encourage fans to sign up to be the first to buy.”
The experience will operate from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with admission from five years old. Although they did not confirm the presence of actors from the series, Fernández left the door open: “It doesn’t depend on us. It probably does, but we left it in suspense.”
