All districts of mainland Portugal, except Bragançawill be under orange warning this Wednesday (November 6) due to the forecast of intense rain and thunderstormsaccording to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

Os 17 districts start under notice yellow between 00:00 and 03:00, after which the orange until 09:00returning again to yellow until 3pm.

During the same period, IPMA foresees thunderstorms and extreme wind phenomenacom gusts of up to 100 km/h in the highlands e 80 km/h no litoral.

O district of Bragança will be the only one without an orange warning, remaining bitter it between 06h00 and 15h0 due to sometimes heavy rain.

Furthermore, the districts of Bragança, Viseu, Porto, Guarda, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Castelo Branco, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga are under yellow warning for strong wind from the south quadrant between 9pm on Tuesday and 9am on Wednesday.

There are still alert for sea unrest — com waves of 4 to 5 meters — em ten districts: Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga, between 9pm today and 2pm on Thursday.

O orange warning is issued by IPMA in situations of moderate to high weather risk.
