There are three new confirmations for Rock in Rio Lisboa. On the same day as the Linkin Park concert, on June 21st, the festival will also feature performances by Cypress Hill, Grandson and Kaiser Chiefs.
“The day that gives the festival its name – Rock – gains strength with a lineup that celebrates not only rock, but also hip-hop: two restless and provocative styles, which inspire attitude, change and translate the true DNA of Rock in Rio”, says Roberta Medina, vice-president of Rock in Rio Lisboa, quoted in a statement.
Twenty years after the release of their debut album Employment, Kaiser Chiefs return to Rock in Rio Lisboa as headliners of the Super Bock Stage with the More Employment tour. For Grandson, this is his debut in Portugal. He will open Palco Mundo, promising to bring the strength of the new generation of alternative rock. With more than 30 years of career, Cypress Hill will alternate between the rebellious spirit of rock and the urban energy of hip hop.
Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026 will take place on the 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th of June, at Parque Tejo, in Lisbon.
The presence of Katy Perry had already been announced.
