MICHOACÁN.- The demonstrations in Michoacán continued this Monday in Michoacán after the president’s statements Claudia Sheinbaum for the execution of Carlos Manzo, mayor of Uruapan.
These protests were called by students, demanding peace and justice, in Uruapan and Morelia, the capital of Michoacán. In Uruapan, young people and workers protest; in Pátzcuaro they march for peace; and in Angahuan there are blockades. The demand is unanimous: real justice, not words.
Con white t-shirts and hatsalluding to the mayor who founded the independent movement ‘The Hat‘, the young people marched through the streets, without reports of violence.
Tension increases in Michoacán

Los Participants gathered at the Government Palace to demand justice and greater security after the attack against the former municipal president of Uruapan. The governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedollaindicated that protests of a “peaceful” nature are “legitimate and perfectly understandable.” But he considered that groups can take advantage of them for their own interests and “in minutes they can become violent,” as happened on Sunday at the state Government Palace.
